Hello, Beautiful Souls — Good Morning, Evening, or Night…

Some of you may have noticed I posted a piece on winter magic the other day…and then it vanished. Well, in true witchy fashion, I realized I wrote a whole blog around the wrong moon phase. And because I don’t want to confuse anyone — and because what I really wanted to talk about was water — I pulled it down.
The good news?
Your girl now has the entire next year of moon phases and planetary placements charted out. I’ll be uploading them one by one on the member page.
BUT — and hear me say this loudly —I am not an astrologer. I’m a witch with a good memory, a good chart, and a humble reminder that humans (and witches) make mistakes. So please, even when it comes from me… check my work. It’ll take me a minute to load all 12 months, but they’re coming.
Now… let’s talk about what I really wanted to talk about: Water.
One of my favorite elements — and one of the most overlooked.
Most of what you hear in pop-witch spaces is:
the chalice is a womb,
moon water = charged water,
…aaaand that’s pretty much it.
But something always felt missing. Because something was missing.
So let’s go deeper into how I work with water — and why it’s such a core part of my magic.
Water Responds — Not Because We Command It, But Because We Are Connected
Here’s the truth few people talk about:
Nature responds to her own.
We don’t “make it rain. ”We don’t boss the elements around.
We become so emotionally aligned, so energetically open, that water responds to what we feel.
Have you ever needed a good cry, but the tears just wouldn’t come……until suddenly it starts raining?
That’s resonance.
That’s attunement.
That’s water saying, I feel you. Let me help.
And eventually you’ll start to notice:
“This rain feels like nature herself.”
“This one feels like Linda up the street having a moment.”
“Oop — this downpour is 100% me. You’re welcome, everyone. Enjoy the rain.” 😆
Weather magic is absolutely real. Humans have always told stories about it — Moses splitting the sea being one of the most dramatic examples. (Do NOT try that at home. You are magical…but you’re not Moses. 😆)
Why Work With Rain?
Because water makes you feel felt.
Especially in a world that misunderstands you.
Because it releases what you no longer need.
Because it purifies, nourishes, and mirrors everything happening inside you.
Even if you can’t “call the rain,” this post is still for you — I’ve got more.
The Realm of Water (As I Experience It)
Water is:
the subconscious
the dream world
the living threshold between realms
memory
emotion
intuition
guidance
ancestral communication
liminal space, liminal time, liminal truth
Because water exists in all three states — liquid, solid, vapor — it moves effortlessly between worlds.
That makes it one of the most powerful conduits for spellwork, divination, and spirit connection.
Water is a portal.
A mirror.
A tongue-wetter for the ancestors, so they may speak. Think of it as a way to unstick the dry morning mouth. So that they may speak and you may hear clearly.
One of the main ways I use water magic is as a kind of spirit line — a metaphorical telephone.
You speak your intentions into it, and they carry.
You speak to your ancestors or spirt realms and they hear, think direct line. You need a number to make a call, water is spirits direct line. It carries energetic current....
And Then There Are Dreams…
Dreams are pure Water Realm.
Lucid dreaming.
Astral projection.
Threshold-walking.
All water.
My way in? Suspension — letting myself drift, float, rock in the void until I slip between worlds.
If I haven’t convinced you to love water a little more…maybe you’re not a witch and shouldn’t be here. 😆 (Just kidding… mostly.)
All Water Is Not the Same
There’s river water, well water, rainwater, sea water, snow, ice, thawed water, bath water — all carrying different types of magic.
There are endless ways to work with it: freeze, melt, bathe, cleanse, bless, whisper, chant, charge, release.
Water really is that amazing.
For Members
I’ll be adding a Water Magic Codex to your page. Not spells — that stays personal —but correspondences, elemental notes, types of water, and ways for you to work with it intuitively… like a grimoire page.
To everyone else —
thank you for being here,
thank you for listening to my ramble,
and may your day or night be soft, clear, and deeply felt.
