The Gemstone Remedy Series: No. 1 — From Gout to Grace
When I was a baby witch, gemstones were my first love. I devoured books, took classes, and scribbled notes on every metaphysical property I could find. But even then, I knew we were only scratching the surface. The real magic of these minerals wasn’t fully captured in any chart or classroom—it was waiting to be discovered in practice.
That’s when my husband’s gout flare became my first teacher. He was in severe pain, and in my wide-eyed curiosity I handed him a stone. “Just put it in your pocket,” I said. He looked at me like I was out of my mind: “Are you kidding me? I’m in agony and you want me to carry a rock?”
But he humored me. The next day he admitted, “I don’t know if it’s the meds or the stone, but it feels a little better.”
This wasn’t a one-time thing. Over the next six months, the same story repeated itself. Each time he flared, I’d hand him a stone. Each time, he’d grumble, roll his eyes—and then return with a little more relief than before. By the third or fourth flare, something shifted. Instead of reaching for the pills first, he asked me which stone he should carry. That was the moment I realized gemstones weren’t just symbolic—they were working.
Years later, when inflammation came knocking on my door in the form of arthritis, I remembered those lessons. By then I had learned how to listen more deeply, not just to the books but to the stones themselves. My guides showed me a new truth: if you take one perfect energy and pair it with another, you don’t just add—you alchemize.
That day, I asked. I listened. And I created my first gemstone pairing. The result has carried me through flare-ups ever since.
I won’t share the exact stones here—their medicine needs context and care—but if you’re curious about which ones they are, why they work together, and how to use them safely, I’ve created a companion guide PDF. It includes the full pairing, individual stone profiles, and step-by-step instructions for attuning and working with them. Members can access it for free, and it’s also available in my shop.
